Duration: 40 minutes circa. Instrumentation: alto saxophone and/or tenor saxophone. Programmes: 1. Free improvisation solo: Bodies of sound explores the body as a source for improvisation and as a site of knowledge. This focus allows a decolonised approach to performance. The saxophone's body is also investigated in its components, at the search of more raw sounds.
2. Interpretation and improvisation: Embedded sounds. The project interwines compositions by Berio, Nono, Calzada, with free improvisation. The aim is to explore the time as a continuum, between kairos and kronos.
